More than 30 restaurants are expected to participate in the event with special prix-fixe lunches (two courses, $10-$25) and dinners (three courses, $25-$35), the town said.
Fairfield Restaurant Week has been held each fall for the past six years and has been “a tremendous success,” said First Selectman Mike Tetreau. “We have heard both from the public and from restaurants that Fairfield should offer Restaurant Week more than once a year, and we’re happy to oblige.”
Fairfield Community and Economic Development Director Mark Barnhart, who is in charge of planning the event, added: “One week didn’t seem like enough. Dine Out Fairfield! will give the public an opportunity to get out and visit old favorites or try someplace new.”
Full-service restaurants interested in participating in Dine Out Fairfield! or businesses interested in sponsorship opportunities should contact Barnhart at (203) 256-3120 or mbarnhart@fairfieldct.org.
